# Sheets Geocoder

Sheets Geocoder is a Google Sheets Editor add-on for forward and reverse geocoding. It converts selected street addresses, landmarks, cities, and postal codes into latitude and longitude coordinates. It also converts selected latitude and longitude pairs into formatted addresses and structured location fields.

## Product

- Forward geocoding: address to latitude, longitude, formatted address, city, region, postal code, and country.
- Reverse geocoding: latitude and longitude to a formatted address and structured location fields.
- Batch processing takes place inside Google Sheets and writes results next to the selected input range.
- Users do not need to configure a Google Maps API key.
- Each Google account receives a one-time allowance of 100 geocoding requests.
- Unlimited plans are available for $34.99 per month or $174.99 per year for one Google account.
- Subscriptions are purchased through Stripe-hosted checkout and managed from the customer's account page.

## Data handling

- Sheets Geocoder requests access to the current Google Sheet, not every spreadsheet in the user's account.
- The user's Google account email identifies the account and enforces its one-time free allowance.
- Only addresses or coordinate pairs selected by the user are sent to Google Maps through Google Apps Script for geocoding.
- Sheets Geocoder does not store selected address inputs or geocoding results after processing.
- Supabase stores account identity, plan status, and usage totals. It does not receive the selected addresses or coordinates.

## Billing and refunds

- Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Cancellation is available through the Stripe-hosted billing portal and normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refund requests are considered individually on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed except where required by law.
